Daniel was a wise man in the court of the emperor during the time of the Israelite's captivity in Babylon. And this piece reminds me of a wise man.
It was created using a technique called "enameling" in which 3 different colors of dyed paverpol are "poured" onto a surface and allowed to harden. No two pieces can turn out the same, so it is always exciting. I used this one and wrapped it as a "skin". Then I took a piece of bronze to make a collar and added the pendant (which happens to be the "dregs" of what was left of the "enameling mixture").
